Terms & Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions apply between the holder ("customer") of a Copenhagen City Pass and Stromma regarding purchase and use of a Copenhagen City Pass.
The Copenhagen City Pass is sold by Stromma Danmark A/S ("Stromma"), Toldbodgade 39, DK-1253 Copenhagen K, CVR No. 26915910. Stromma may be contacted by email at contact@copenhagencitypass.com. When purchasing a Copenhagen City Pass, the customer accepts the following terms and conditions:

1. About the "Copenhagen City Pass"

With a Copenhagen City Pass, the customer can freely access selected attractions and museums in the Copenhagen Metropolitan area ("attractions"). The Pass (with a QR code) can be used as full payment to access and use the service offered by the attraction.

Copenhagen City Pass works through a scan and QR code system, that allows the customer to visit attractions during a period of time selected by the customer when purchasing the Pass.

When entering an attraction, the Pass must be registered by the attraction scanner.

If the attraction scanner does not work, the attraction must give the customer access in another way, provided that the customer has a valid Pass.

Each Pass may be used once for each attraction during the period of validity of the Pass (cf. section 2) and up to a maximum amount of DKK 3,000 (cf. section 4).

2. Validity

The Copenhagen City Pass has a validity period of one (1) year from the purchase date and cannot be terminated.

If the Pass is not activated within one (1) year from the purchase date (the last day being the anniversary of the purchase date), the Pass can no longer be activated.

The Copenhagen City Pass allows the customer to use the attractions specified at the Copenhagen City Pass website at the time of use.

The Pass is activated the first time it is registered by an attraction, and can be used for the number of hours selected by the customer and specified on the Pass.

The Pass, including the unique QR code, is delivered electronically to the customer's email in PDF format.

3. Rights and requirements

The customer accepts that visits to attractions are voluntary and completely at one's own risk.

The customer cannot claim damages for not being allowed to enter an attraction if it is closed during the use period for the Pass.

The customer cannot claim damages for failure to use the possibilities of the Pass during the use period for the Pass.

Stromma cannot be held liable for any circumstances related to an attraction that renders visiting the attraction difficult or impossible, including accessibility, opening hours and amended opening hours.

Stromma cannot be held liable for any security-related problems or for damage to persons or property arising during the customer's visit to the attractions included in the Copenhagen City Pass.

Stromma is not liable for traffic or the weather, which may affect the customer's possibility of visiting or using an included attraction.

Any complaints must be directed directly to the relevant attraction during the visit or immediately after the end of the visit.

Copenhagen City Pass is a bearer voucher, which the customer must store carefully. Stromma does NOT pay compensation for or offer repayment of lost or stolen Passes.

In case of any complaints regarding purchase of the Pass, the customer must be able to contact Stromma directly.

4. Maximum values

The Copenhagen City Pass has a maximum value, which means that the Pass can only be used up to a maximum value for the attractions used by the customer.

If the maximum value of the Copenhagen City Pass is reached, the Pass is no longer valid for any additional use.

The current maximum value is DKK 3,000, which is the highest amount a voucher with a limited use may have, cf. the Danish Act on Payments.

5. Payment and delivery

All prices will be shown during the purchase process, before payment is made. Prices include VAT and taxes.

The Pass is delivered electronically to the email address provided by the customer, and may then be displayed on the customer's mobile phone whenever the customer wants to use it. In the alternative, the customer may print out the Pass and the QR code and present them physically.

The customer is responsible for the email address provided by the customer is correct.

The customer is responsible for the customer's phone/tablet functions during the entire validity period of the Pass, in order to allow for a proper scan of the Pass; or that the customer has printed out the Pass and the QR code and present them physically.

The customer can use the payment methods specified during the purchase process. The purchase can only be completed with a valid credit or charge card.

After making the payment, the customer will be sent to a confirmation page specifying all details about the purchase. Stromma recommends the customer to print out this receipt for future reference. The receipt cannot be used as a Pass.

The customer will receive the Terms and Conditions and the receipt by email as provided by the customer at the time of purchase.

6. Right of cancellation

The customer has a right of cancellation as regards online purchases for up to fourteen (14) days after the purchase date. If the customer requests to cancel a purchase, he or she must contact Stromma by email (contact@copenhagencitypass.com) before the end of the cancellation period and give notice of such request for cancellation in an unambiguous statement. The customer may use the standard cancellation form available here.

If the purchase has been cancelled before expiry of the cancellation period, Stromma will refund all payments received from the customer, including any delivery costs, without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen (14) days from the date when Stromma received notice of the customer's decision to cancel the purchase. Refunds will be made with the same payment method used by the customer in the initial transaction, unless the customer has expressly consented otherwise.

The right of cancellation will lapse when the customer activates his or her Copenhagen City Pass; i.e. the first time it is registered by an attraction.
