Vesterbro is vibrant and relaxed yet lively with an eclectic mix of people. It has gone from once being famous for its red-light district to a bustling area with a unique atmosphere. Along the main streets, designer shops and cafés pop up along high-quality restaurants and bars, most of them found in the famous Meatpacking District, that has undergone a major change in recent years.
Frederiksberg is a somewhat more fashionable area compared to Vesterbro. The district invites you to go shopping in upscale clothing stores and to enjoy the lush green areas famous for the area. There is also an abundance of cafés and deli’s, especially along the street Værnedamsvej – a haven for foodies. Some of the most-visited attractions included in the Copenhagen City Pass are found in this area.
